woofy basses is a brand that aims to support the growth of musicians by offering high quality, especially as a first or second bass to get.
As an original brand of GIB, we are proud to say that it is the finest in the same price range in terms of quality.
The first woofy basses we announced were entry-level, in the 20,000~40,000 yen range.
And now we are proud to announce the Classic Series, an authentic replica of the vintage bass.
The J Bass is inspired by the traditional electric basses that have been used in a wide range of applications from legendary soul music to modern rock bands.
The body is made of Alder, the fingerboard is Rosewood, and the neck is Maple, all traditional woods.
The neck is a classic color with a gloss finish.
As with all woofy basses, wires are Belden and jacks are Switchcraft.
The strings are D'addario EXL.
Although it is impossible to use the highest quality parts due to cost issues, we have ensured maximum quality by using such high class parts in key areas.
Manufacturing is done in China.
After quality checks in China, they are imported to Japan, and quality checks and adjustments are performed again in Japan.
We aim for a vintage-like sound with a full bass range and rich midrange, and a trebly texture.

We do not sell wholesale.
We minimize costs by shortening the commercial distribution channel, while at the same time achieving high quality.
