이 모델은 독특한 PH 픽업 레이아웃을 갖춘 SF 시리즈의 보석입니다.

바디 쉐입은 기본적으로 펜더와 비슷하게 밸런스가 잡혀있습니다.
플레이하시면서 불편함을 느끼실 수 없습니다.

전면에는 프리시젼 베이스형 스플릿 코일 PU가, 후면에는 험버킹 PU가 탑재되어 있습니다.
특히 후면은 험버킹인데 후면에는 JB 싱글 코일이 2개 있는 것처럼 보입니다.
실제로 배선은 미니 스위치로 제어할 수 있으며 내용은 싱글(60's) - 험 - 싱글(70's)입니다.

1960년대와 1970년대에 펜더는 JB의 후면 PU 위치를 변경했습니다.
이 스위치를 사용하면 이러한 차이를 마음대로 변경할 수 있습니다.

사운드는 기본적으로 저음으로 가득 차 있으며 어떤 면에서는 Fender 방식을 따릅니다.
그러면서도 특히 믹스에서는 후면 PU의 배선을 전환해 자유롭게 변경할 수 있는 PJ 스타일을 갖고 있다.
PJ의 믹싱 사운드가 자신의 취향에 매우 부합할 수 있으므로 이는 모든 사람이 긍정적으로 생각하는 것입니다.
