Sire became famous for releasing basses supervised by Marcus Miller.

The quality of their guitars and basses is extremely high, and they are highly regarded not only by Marcus Miller fans but also by a wider audience.

This is their new Z3-5 model.

As you can see, it's a model inspired by the Musicman Stingray.

The neck has a nice, retro feel, doesn't it?

The body is made of mahogany.

High-quality mahogany is readily available in Indonesia, so they likely used that.

In reality, even Musicman seems somewhat indifferent to body materials beyond appearance, so they may not place much emphasis on its impact on sound. (This is my opinion.)

For this type of design, the performance and placement of the pickups, and the preamp, are extremely important elements.

SIRE uses its own original designs for both.

In particular, they didn't simply reuse the preamp from the original JB model; they developed a dedicated preamp called the HERITAGE-3.

The controls are Volume, Treble, Middle, and Bass.

Pulling up the Bass knob bypasses the preamp, allowing it to operate passively.

Since the original Musicman Stingray didn't have a passive option, many will likely see this as a positive feature.

The fretboard and fretwork are superb.

While this is expected at this price point, it's also comparable to guitars in higher price ranges, boasting a high level of quality.

The sound is exactly what you'd expect: crisp, strong highs and tight lows.

Until now, there haven't been many options for this type of guitar, but I feel that a truly excellent replica has finally arrived. Highly recommended.

● Warranty Against Defects

The warranty period is 3 months for used items and 1 year for new items.
