Sire rose to fame as a brand releasing bass guitars supervised by Marcus Miller.
The guitars and basses they produce are of extremely high quality, and they're popular even among non-Marcus fans.

This model is a modern PJ-style bass inspired by the Precision Bass, with added flexibility.

Maple is used for the neck and fingerboard.
The fingerboard edges are nicely rounded for improved playability.
Most players will have a positive reaction to this specification.

Swamp Ash is used for the body.

The pickup layout is a PB-type split coil plus a JB-type single coil.
In true PJ style, it features a built-in preamp, allowing for a wide range of sound creation.
These electronics were, of course, supervised by Marcus Miller.

Controls include volume, tone, balance, bass, middle, mid frequency, treble, and an active/passive switch.
It may look complicated at first glance, but from a bassist's perspective, it makes sense.

The sound is well-balanced from low to high, and is characterized by a crisp tone.
