When the Metroline Express series was first released, it didn't feature the Sadowsky logo, but this has since been successfully changed.
Furthermore, the neck has been changed to roasted maple.
It has a satin finish, providing a smooth feel.
The back panel, like Warwick's, is the type that doesn't require screws.
Looking inside the cavity, you can see shielding applied using copper foil tape. Excellent.
The pickups are Sadowsky-style hum-canceling types.
The preamp circuit board is nearly equivalent to the top-tier models in the ¥1 million price range, which is a significant advantage.
Controls include Volume, Balancer, Bass, and Treble.
A push-pull switch bypasses the active circuit, allowing playback in passive mode.
The powerful, crisp sound comes across as slightly more flashy than recent NYC models.
Some might actually prefer this sound when listening purely for the tone.
Creating a product that delivers the same high quality at this price point doesn't seem easy.
