Sadowsky is a high-end New York brand with top-tier musicians such as Marcus Miller and Will Lee as clients. (Titles omitted)
Previously, the Metroline was manufactured in Japan, but as Warwick took over the distribution of Sadowsky products, manufacturing moved to the Warwick factory in Germany.
There were concerns about a decline in quality, as the Japanese-made Metroline models were highly regarded, but these concerns are unfounded.
Compared to the Japanese-made models, the neck feels slightly thinner, and there are differences in the curvature of the body joint.
The old Metroline used a solid body.
However, this new Metroline, like the NYC models, uses a chambered body.
This makes it significantly lighter, weighing nearly 3kg, a clear advantage.
The excellent electronics produce a powerful sound even with low string action.
Playability is also excellent, making it a product with high overall potential.
The pickups are said to be different from both the old Metroline and NYC models, but they produce a refined and beautifully designed sound.
It's not peaky and is easy to handle.
A very high-quality, well-put-together masterpiece.
I actually visited the Sadowsky factory in Warwick, Germany, and saw modern and rational manufacturing there.
Seeing the manufacturing process makes the high quality completely understandable.
