The ZB405 is a bass featuring modern elements like a multi-scale fretboard and a headless design.

The body utilizes Indonesian Mahogany, a staple Indonesian tonewood known for delivering appropriate weight and tone.

The neck employs a 5-ply laminate construction of Hard Maple and Walnut.

This method of bonding multiple woods reduces lateral imbalance and individual variations, resulting in greater stability.

The scale length is 33-35 inches. This design reduces the extreme tension on the 1st string side while compensating for the weaker tension on the 5th string side.

Stainless steel frets are used. Stainless steel retains its shine indefinitely and, due to its hardness, offers low wear. It is an ideal material adopted by high-end brands like Suhr and Tom Anderson.

The pickup configuration features a single-coil at the neck and a dual-coil at the bridge.

The bridge pickup's wiring can be switched between series, split, and parallel modes.

They employ original pickups in many models.

This isn't for cost-cutting; it stems from their confidence in the quality of their self-designed pickups.

Staff who understand music and play daily meticulously research and design numerous elements like magnets, wire, and bobbins.

Paired with this is a modern preamp featuring a 3-band EQ.

The EQ's frequency bands are practical: BASS at 50Hz, MIDDLE at 1kHz, and Treble at 6kHz.

The balance when held is excellent. Even someone accustomed to playing Fender guitars will likely find the HEX comfortable to play.

True to its headless design, it delivers a clean, crisp sound without sacrificing musical harmonics or rich bass response.

The exceptionally high quality of the fundamental neck construction ensures excellent playability. It's difficult to definitively say it falls short when compared to instruments priced around ¥200,000.

Overall, this is a superb product boasting high quality in every aspect: looks, playability, and sound.
