HEX Guitars is a brand based in South Korea that specializes in products spanning the entry-level to mid-range price points.

They own their own factory in Indonesia and handle manufacturing themselves. This sets them apart from brands that typically rely on OEM production.

Because they don't outsource to other factories and the boss himself gets hands-on at the factory floor, they produce guitars of unexpectedly high quality for their price point.

The T Series modernizes the most classic Fender style.

It incorporates many specifications typically found in high-end guitars, such as woods like Roasted Maple and Burl Maple, and compound radius fingerboards.

The distinctive body is constructed from Indonesian Mahogany and Burl Maple.

Roasted Maple is used for the neck and fingerboard.

Roasted wood, also known as thermo wood, is a new material popularized by Japan's Sago New Material Guitars.

Originally a Finnish technology, it was developed for wood used in saunas.

High-temperature processing evaporates moisture and oils within the wood, resulting in exceptional stability even in hot, humid conditions.

Sonically, it imparts a more refined and rich tone.

The fingerboard radius is finished with a 12-16 inch compound radius.

A compound radius creates a rounder fingerboard shape in the lower positions and a flatter shape in the higher positions.

Generally, a rounder fingerboard radius improves playability but can cause sound blockage in the higher positions.

The compound radius solves this issue.

This technology is adopted by high-end brands like Suhr Guitars and Tom Anderson.

The neck profile is slim and features a neutral C-shape.

The finish is satin.

The pickups are original single-coil designs.

They use original pickups on many models.

This isn't for cost-cutting; it stems from their confidence in the quality of their self-designed pickups.

Staff who understand music and play daily meticulously researched and designed every element—magnets, wire, bobbins, and more.

The balance in hand is excellent. Even players accustomed to Fender or Gibson guitars will likely find it comfortable to play.

It retains that signature Telecaster jangly sound character while offering comfortable playability and precise pitch.

It's a character that would suit guitar-vocalists well.

The fundamental quality around the neck is exceptionally high, resulting in superb playability. It's difficult to definitively say it falls short even when compared to more expensive guitars.

Overall, it's a fantastic product boasting high quality in looks, playability, and sound.
