Element is a collaborative brand between Torillo Basses and Fendt's Finest, a boutique shop handling many top-tier bass brands.
We met both individuals in the 2010s and maintain close personal and business relationships to this day.
We have imported the Torillo Basses brand into Japan multiple times via GIB and hold their high quality in the highest regard.
Element brand basses are favored by musicians like Kiko Woiski and are also highly regarded by the musical community.
Tom, the builder at Torillo Basses who crafts Element, is himself a professional bassist.
Therefore, Element's playability and sound are purely designed for musicians.
This is one of the first three basses ordered upon receiving news of the brand's launch.
(Incidentally, one of the three was purchased by Yohan Kim, known for sessions with top K-POP artists like ITZY.)
This modern model is inspired by JB's style, and its feel when cradled feels just as natural as JB's.
The body is alder, the fingerboard is rosewood, inspired by the classic Fender style.
The tuners are GOTOH, the bridge is HIPSHOT.
The single-coil pickups are an original design.
The sound possesses a powerful presence, delivering a massive, full-range response from low end to high end.
It maintains this strength throughout, from the rich low end to the high end with its strong attack.
This kind of sound, affecting the entire frequency spectrum, is something not found in classic basses.
The strength of the low B string and the smooth transition connecting it to the G string are particularly noteworthy, yielding a clear, distinct, and powerful low end.
The comfortable grip of the left hand on the neck, the supple vibration of the strings felt throughout, and the sound that powerfully shakes the air—all are modern and confirm its top-tier quality.
