Element is a collaboration between Fendt's Finest, a boutique store that carries many top bass brands, and Torillo Basses.
The two met in the 2010s and still have a close friendship and business relationship.
Torillo Basses is a brand that GIB has imported to Japan many times and we appreciate the high quality of their products.
The Element brand basses are used by Kiko Woiski and others, and are highly regarded by musicians.
Tom, the builder of Torillo Basses, who makes Element basses, is himself a professional bassist.
Therefore, the playability and sound of Element is designed purely for musicians.
This is one of the first three Element basses we ordered when we got word of the brand's launch (one of the first three, by the way).
(By the way, one of the three was purchased by Yohan Kim, who is known for his sessions with top KPOP artists such as ITZY.)
This modern model is inspired by JB's style, and is comfortable to hold compared to JB.
Alder body and rosewood fingerboard were specified for the body and fingerboard, respectively, in the motif of classic Fender style.
Tuners are GOTOH and bridge is HIPSHOT.
Single coil pickups and preamp are original design.
The preamp utilizes FETs and has a 2-band EQ with 15dB boost at 50Hz and 3.5kHz respectively.
The sound is strong, with everything from low end to high end sounding massive.
It remains strong all the way from the plentiful low end to the strongly attacking high end.
All in all, this kind of sound that affects the whole bandwidth is something you don't find in a classic bass.
The smooth connection from the E string to the G string is noteworthy, clearly articulate, and provides a big bass.
The way the left hand sits on the neck, the supple vibration of the strings that is transmitted throughout, and the strong, airy sound, all confirm that this is a modern, top-of-the-line bass.
