These are PURE BLUES, used by Victor Wooten.
The core wire is round core and the main material is Quantum Nickel.
It is characterised by a soft playing feel and a supple texture.
Picking is more free, which is a big advantage in slapping and fingering.
Quantum Nickel is a uniquely formulated nickel material that feels tougher and has massive nuances.
The sound is balanced from top to bottom, with a neat, not peppy feel.
Thick, edgy and warm - at first glance it may seem like a contradiction, but the strings have a balance where they all live together.
If I had to say so, I would say that there is more tension in the middle range, and I would recommend this string especially for fingerstyle players.
