It uses a round core unique to DR, and a groove for winding is created around the core.
This allows the winding and core wire to be more accurately connected.
The winding wire uses the latest material called Quantum Nickel.
This is a unique formulation, and it certainly has a different texture from previous Nickels.
When I actually touched it, it felt relatively bright. Isn't this the reason why we changed the mixing ratio?
Coated strings often have a subdued treble range, so this point gives me a sense of individuality.
There is no excess or deficiency in the bass range, rich overtones are pleasant, and the quality is clearly high.
The feel is slightly rougher than nickel strings such as D'Addario and LaBella. However, you will get used to it after playing it for a while.
I think this is probably due to changing the formulation.
It has a supple texture typical of a round core, which left a good impression on me.
It's also good that even though it's a coated string, you can ground the string without any problems.
Overall, it's an excellent product with high quality that befits a modern new product.
