Bacchus is a Japanese brand based in Nagano, Japan.
Bacchus is a brand under the umbrella of Divisor, which owns a large guitar factory called Asuka Factory, and is highly regarded by many musicians for its high quality because the factory handles the guitars itself.
This model is a WOODLINE model in the Japan Tune-up series, which was newly created with the aim of achieving high quality.
The Japan Tune-up series is manufactured overseas, and the nut adjustment and fret adjustment are done in Japan.
The goal is to keep the price low but the quality high, comparable in every respect to the top quality made in Japan.
We actually saw the work being done at the Divisor's workshop in Nagano, and the meticulous way in which each piece is finished is no different from that of the top-of-the-line HANDMADE series.
The WL-5 is already a popular model, and its high quality is highly acclaimed.
This newly released model features gorgeous spotted maple on the body top.
As you can see from the looks, it is hard to believe that it is in this price range. It is amazing.
It is something that is usually impossible to find, but I think the great thing about Divisor is that they are able to make such innovations.
Also, the neck is made of roasted maple.
Roasted maple is a wood that has acquired strong stability by volatilizing the water and oil inside the wood through treatment at high temperatures.
Originally used as a building material for saunas in Finland, it is particularly resistant to high temperatures and humidity.
Bacchus has many passive models, but being AC, this model has an active circuit.
By making full use of the 2-band EQ for treble and bass, powerful sound making is possible.
Super smooth playing comfort is characteristic of the brand, and the sound is smooth as well.
Roasted maple is known for its smooth startup and cozy sound, and this model is no different.
This kind of specification is not usually used in this price range.
The response is smooth, yet powerful.
