Bacchus is a Japanese brand based in Nagano.
As a brand under Diviser, which owns the large Asuka Factory guitar plant, its high quality—achieved because the factory handles production itself—is highly regarded by many musicians.
This model is a WOODLINE model from the Japan Tune-up series, newly created with a focus on high quality.
The Japan Tune-up series employs a method where manufacturing occurs overseas, while nut adjustments and fret dressing are performed domestically.
This approach aims to keep prices competitive while maintaining high quality, striving to match the top-tier quality of Japanese-made instruments in every aspect.
I actually observed the work done at Diviser's workshop in Nagano, and the meticulous finishing applied to each individual guitar is indistinguishable from their top-tier HANDMADE series.
The WL5 itself is already a popular model, highly regarded for its exceptional quality.
This version takes the WL5 as its base, featuring a beautiful Burl Poplar body top finished in an elegant fade color.
The color is named Somei Yoshino Pink Burst Satin.
