Description & Condition
Description & Condition
SAITO GUITARS is a Japanese brand that started in 2014.
Its parent company is Saito Musical Instrument Workshop in Kawaguchi City, Saitama Prefecture.
Founded in 1991 as a guitar repair shop, it utilizes the knowledge gained there to create musical instruments.
Its unique looks and reliable sound have made it popular, and it is used by artists such as Yuki LIN Hayashi and Junko (Uchikubi Gokumon Doukoukai). (Titles omitted)
The Heritage series is SAITO's new series.
This model is a simple guitar based on the JB (James Bond) style.
The body is made of Alder 2P, the neck is made of flat-sawn Hard Maple, and the fingerboard is Indian Rosewood, a classic construction.
While the body shape is JB-like, subtle modifications have been made to the design, such as the waist cut.
The fingerboard edges are rounded, and Luminlay side position markers glow in the dark, demonstrating attention to playability throughout.
The finish is a thin lacquer coating.
You can enjoy a sound that utilizes the natural resonance of the wood and a vintage-like texture.
The pickups are original SAYTONE pickups.
These are not OEM parts, but hand-wound in-house, and this quality is the foundation of this model.
The ability to create even these parts in-house is a major strength of the brand.
The neck joint uses an aluminum joint plate.
This is the 5-string model, the S-521 BCSJ Heritage.
The pickups are a SAYTONE Five Vantage+ set, the bridge is a SAITO original VTB-5 with a string spacing of 19mm, and the tuners are lightweight GOTOH GB528.
Even with 5 strings, you can enjoy a sound that combines the clarity and fullness characteristic of a JB bass.
This 5-string JB bass embodies a love for vintage instruments and the meticulous craftsmanship unique to Japanese handmade instruments.
