Description & Condition
Description & Condition
Yamaha is a leading Japanese musical instrument manufacturer founded in 1887.
They have produced numerous legendary instruments, not only in pianos and wind instruments, but also in the field of electric basses.
The Attitude series is the signature series of Billy Sheehan, known for his virtuoso technique.
This is the Attitude Limited 2.
Its most distinctive feature is the two pickups developed in collaboration with DiMarzio.
The neck pickup is a YBDW-1WC (neck woofer), and the bridge pickup is a YBDP-1BC split-coil.
The neck woofer is characterized by its deep lows and clear definition, and also features a high-cut switch.
The split-coil pickup is characterized by its punchy mids, supporting Billy Sheehan's aggressive sound.
Furthermore, it features a stereo/mono switch.
The two pickups can be sent to separate amplifiers, allowing for settings just like Billy Sheehan's.
The body is made of alder, and the neck and fingerboard are made of maple.
The color is Sea Foam Green, giving it a vintage-like and refreshing look.
The original hard case is also included.
This is a recommended guitar not only for those who want to experience Billy Sheehan's sound, but also for those seeking a unique PB-style sound.
The frets have approximately 90% remaining.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in good condition.
The body and paintwork have some paint chipping of about 0.6cm at the neck joint and horn. There are some minor dents on the back of the body. There are scratches on the bridge pickup cover. The pickguard has slightly discolored due to age. There is some paint peeling on the neck inlay, but this does not affect normal use.
The electronics are in good condition.
No obvious modifications were found.
