Description & Condition
Description & Condition
DINGWALL is a Canadian brand.
It's a leading brand of basses that utilizes fanned frets (multi-scale), and is supported by bassists worldwide for its clear bass tones and high playability.
The Combustion series makes Dingwall's sound and playability more accessible.
It's manufactured in a factory in China, and assembled and final-setup in a Canadian workshop.
This is the Combustion CC3 5st.
Its most distinctive feature is the Novax fanned fret system.
The scale length changes from 34 inches for the 1st string to 37 inches for the 5th string, ensuring firm tension even on the Low B chord and producing a well-defined bass tone.
The body has a Swamp Ash back with a Quilted Maple top, and the neck and fingerboard are Maple.
The beautiful grain of the Quilted Maple is eye-catching, giving it a striking appearance.
This guitar features three pickups, and the pickup selector allows you to switch between four different sounds: front, front + rear, center + rear, and rear.
It can cover a wide range of sounds, from PB-style to JB-style, all in one instrument.
The preamp is an active 3-band EQ, and it can be switched between active and passive modes.
This is a guitar we highly recommend for those who want to experience the clarity of the bass tones that only fanned frets can provide.
The frets have approximately 70% remaining.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in good condition.
There are some minor scratches on the body and paintwork. There is slight signs of use.
