Bacchus is a Japanese brand developed by Deviser, located in Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture.
Leveraging the expertise cultivated in their own factory, they produce high-quality instruments across a wide price range.
The BJB-1R-FL is a fretless version based on their affordable JB model.
It's an original fretless design, not one where the frets were removed later.
The body is made of hardwood, the neck is maple, and the fingerboard is rosewood.
The color is a classic 3TS (3-tone sunburst).
It features two original JB-type single-coil pickups.
The controls are simple: two volume controls and one tone control.
Its appeal lies in the moody, singing sound unique to fretless guitars.
Especially when the bridge pickup is boosted, it's easier to achieve the characteristic ""muffled"" nuance of a fretless guitar.
