Description & Condition
Description & Condition
Bacchus is a Japanese brand based in Nagano.
It's a brand under the Deviser umbrella, which owns a large guitar factory called the Asuka Factory. The high quality, stemming from the factory's in-house production, is highly regarded by many musicians.
This instrument is an UP-Bass, combining the playability of an electric bass with the rich sound of an upright bass.
Despite its compact body shape for an upright bass, it features a 36-inch scale, achieving a deep, full low end and unique sustain.
The body appears to be ash, the neck maple, and the fingerboard rosewood.
It features original pickups and a Bartolini XTCT preamp.
From warm, acoustic tones reminiscent of a double bass to defined tones that won't get lost in an ensemble, it offers flexible control at your fingertips.
It's a practical instrument that balances ease of handling with the nuances of a double bass.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in good condition.
The body and paintwork show scratches, dents, and paint chips.
The electronics are in good condition.
No obvious modifications were observed.
