Description & Condition
Description & Condition
Tsubasa Guitar Workshop is a handmade brand produced in a workshop in Chino City, Nagano Prefecture.
The builder is Chiaki Tanaka, known for his work with Fullertone Guitars.
The brand launched in 2020 as a consumer-oriented brand.
This particular instrument is the ""The Loose.""
It features a JG/JM style offset shape.
It is also the model that served as the basis for tatsu's (LÄ-PPISCH) signature model.
The body is made of alder, and the neck and fingerboard are made of maple.
It has a one-piece neck with a skunk stripe.
It is the only Tsubasa bass with 20 frets.
The bridge is vintage style.
The tuning machines are open-gear type with clover-shaped knobs.
The pickguard has a tortoise shell pattern.
The pickups are JJ specification, and the controls are 2 volume and 1 tone.
The brand designs and manufactures its own pickups.
The circuit is passive, with the same configuration as a JB-type bass.
Therefore, you can create sounds with the same feel as a JB-type bass.
The original pickups are designed to produce a wide-range sound with more high frequencies than typical pickups, aiming for a clear and articulate tone.
These specifications result in a bright and articulate JB-type sound.
GIB's craftsmen will adjust the bass to ensure ease of playability before delivery.
