Description & Condition

Fender is, of course, the number one brand of electric guitars and basses.

It's loved by countless top artists, including Jaco Pastorius, Marcus Miller, and Geddy Lee. (Titles omitted)

The Jazz Bass was released as a higher-end model than the Precision Bass.

Its sharp, clear sound is loved by many bassists, and it continues to receive overwhelming support and shines brightly even today.

This is a 1972 Jazz Bass.

The neck date is 02033923.

Each potentiometer is engraved with 1377329.

The pickup dates are "134273" and "144073".

The year was determined from other specifications.

The body is Alder, and the neck and fretboard are Maple.

While the 70s might bring to mind the combination of Ash and Maple, the Alder and Maple combination, with its light midrange, is also wonderful.

Considering its age, the paintwork is in excellent condition.

It may have been over-lacquered.

The pickups are original gray bobbins.

It has been refretted and re-nutted.

The binding is not significantly chipped, indicating very careful workmanship.

The current fret life and truss rod are good, allowing for many more years of use.

The bridge saddle for the 1st string has been replaced, but overall, it is highly original.

The fast, tight sound characteristic of the 70s is distinctive, yet it also possesses an open midrange nuance—a unique charm of this Alder and Maple combination.

Don't miss this opportunity.

Fret life is approximately 70%.

The truss rod is in good condition.

The neck is in good condition.

The body and paintwork show overall signs of use, with scratches, dents, and paint peeling. There are scattered paint cracks and peeling around the neck joint.

The electronics are in good condition.

The frets and nut have been replaced. The 1st string bridge saddle has been replaced.
