Description & Condition
Description & Condition
LAKLAND basses are overwhelmingly highly regarded by professional bass players worldwide.
While they offer several lines based on grade, this particular model is from the renowned Japanese-made Shoreline Series.
The 44-60 was originally Joe Osborn's signature model and represents a strong traditional direction within the LAKLAND lineup.
Originally created as a backup for his pre-CBS Fender bass, it was crafted with the concept of blending modern elements while retaining a nuance very close to that original.
It features classic specifications: an alder body, maple neck, and rosewood fingerboard.
The tuning machines are HIPSHOT Ultralite.
This contributes to the overall lightweight construction and improved balance, preventing the headstock from dropping.
The rich midrange and vibrant harmonics share a sound common to traditional JB basses.
In addition, it possesses the subtle tightness characteristic of LAKLAND, and a feeling of the strings snapping the moment you play them.
This bass has a pleasant playing feel and produces a bass sound that dances beautifully within an ensemble.
The frets have approximately 80% remaining.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in good condition.
The body and paintwork show minor scratches all over. There is some paint chipping near the horn and control panel. There are several dents near the neck joint.
The electronics are in good condition.
No obvious modifications were observed.
