FERNANDES is a long-established brand that has been active since the early days of guitar making in Japan.
This is an FPM-80, manufactured in the 1980s.
It features a design that combines elements of a PB and an Eagle Bass.
This is from the so-called ""stone logo"" era.
The body is made of sen wood, and the fingerboard is rosewood.
The neck is a 5-piece maple/mahogany through-neck construction.
It has been refretted and renutted.
The work was done carefully, and the current condition is good.
It is equipped with two L-6001 pickups.
The sound is surprisingly powerful, yet features a smooth attack.
The body design is based on the PB, so it feels comfortable to hold.
The frets have approximately 90% remaining.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in good condition.
The body and paintwork show signs of use, with numerous dents and paint cracks, and the hardware is tarnished.
The electronics are in good condition.
The guitar has been refretted and the nut replaced.
