Fender is, of course, the number one brand of electric guitars and basses.
It's loved by countless top artists, including Jaco Pastorius, Marcus Miller, and Geddy Lee. (Titles omitted)
The Jazz Bass was released as a higher-end model than the Precision Bass.
Its sharp, clear sound and high playability have made it beloved by many bassists, and it continues to receive overwhelming support to this day.
This is a Jazz Bass from the American Vintage series.
As the name suggests, this series was created with a strong emphasis on vintage style, and this model is based on the specifications of a 1962 Jazz Bass.
The body is made of alder, the neck is maple, and the fingerboard is rosewood.
This is a classic wood combination that produces a rich midrange and the crisp tone characteristic of a Jazz Bass.
The body has been refinished.
There are slight inconsistencies, but this is likely due to the workshop's work.
The pickups have been replaced with a Fender Custom Shop 60s Jazz Bass Pickup Set. The potentiometers have been replaced with CTS parts. The capacitors have been replaced. The wiring has also been replaced accordingly.
The sound, with its rich, full-bodied bass and sharp, beautiful treble, is truly classic.
This is a bass with a classic Jazz Bass sound that every bassist should know at least once.
The frets have approximately 70% remaining.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in good condition.
The body and paintwork show paint chipping, dents, and scratches, but since it's likely a relic finish, it's impossible to determine if these are later-acquired damages.
The electronics are in good condition.
It has been refinished. The pickups have been replaced with a Fender Custom Shop 60s Jazz Bass Pickup Set. The potentiometers have been replaced with CTS parts. The capacitors have been replaced. The wiring has also been replaced accordingly.
