This is a rare Sadowsky NYC brand guitar, which seems to have become increasingly difficult to find recently.
This particular guitar is from the LTD era, manufactured in 1989.
The preamp is signed ""JB 1-89.""
The back of the headstock also bears the engraving of J.W. Black, who was with the band until that year.
The body is made of ash, and the neck and fretboard are maple, a classic construction.
The body is Warmoth, and the neck is made by Tom Anderson.
The pickups are original, likely hum-canceling type.
The preamp is an early Bartolini TCT.
These components also look significantly different from current models.
The sound is somewhat more powerful and robust compared to the smooth sound of current NYC guitars.
That's precisely why it has such a flashy and cool sound.
