F-Bass is a leading Canadian bass brand.
The quality of their basses is exceptionally high, and they are used by top-tier bassists such as Alain Caron, Étienne Mbappé, Hadrien Féraud, and Michael League. (Titles omitted)
This model is a signature model of Alain Caron, a leading Canadian jazz bassist.
It features a 6-string, fretless design, and a piezo pickup.
The body top is made of spruce, and the back is made of figured maple.
It has been chambered for acoustic purposes.
The neck is made of maple, and the fingerboard is made of Macassar ebony.
The wood grain is beautiful and refined from every angle.
This particular instrument is a model with no string height adjustment.
With exposed strings, the current adjustment at the 12th fret is 2.0, 2.3, 2.6, 3.1, 3.6, and 4.0 mm, and it is playable without any problems.
If necessary, we can also perform repairs such as adjusting the string height by filing down the bridge at GIB, so please feel free to ask.
The pickups are original magnetic and piezo pickups.
These can be controlled with independent volume controls.
The preamp is also original.
The sound is appealing, combining the warmth and airiness of acoustic tones with the power and punch of electric tones.
While rooted in jazz, this is a bass that also produces hard rock sounds, truly reflecting his style.

The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in good condition. This model does not have adjustable string height. Currently, at the 12th fret, the string heights from 1st to 3.5mm are playable without problems at 1.6, 2.0, 2.3, 3.0, 3.0, and 3.5mm.
The body and paintwork show some dents and scratches overall. There is a noticeable paint chip of about 7.0mm on the back of the body and a noticeable dent of about 30.0mm on the front.
The electronics are in good condition.
No obvious modifications were observed.
