Music Man, which started as Leo Fender's second brand, captivated many musicians with its innovative designs.
Many artists, including Louis Johnson and Flea, used Music Man basses.
Later, Music Man was acquired by Ernie Ball and is now known as Ernie Ball Music Man. (Titles omitted)
While the Stingray is by far the most popular model within the company, this is a Sterling.
It features a slightly slimmer body shape than the Stingray, making it comfortable to hold.
The body is likely made of ash.
The neck is flame-patterned maple, and the fingerboard is rosewood.
The pickups and preamp are original.
The combination of a 3-band EQ and pickup configuration allows for a wide range of sound shaping even with only the bridge pickup.
