Strandberg is a guitar/bass brand from Sweden.
They create instruments that boldly incorporate modern designs, such as headless and multi-scale basses.
This model is the Boden Bass, their flagship model.
The body top is made of flame maple, and the back is made of basswood.
The neck is a laminated neck made of roasted maple and carbon fiber.
The fretboard is also made of roasted maple.
A notable feature is the neck grip called the Endur Neck.
Unlike the rounded shape of a typical bass, it is cut into an angular trapezoid shape.
The diagonal cut from the lower to the higher positions is also distinctive.
This is surprisingly easy to play and I think many bassists will readily accept it.
Overall, it has a modern, beautiful, and refined look that is very appealing.
The pickups and preamp are Fishman.
The 3-Way Voice Selector changes the preamp's character, allowing you to choose from normal, mid-cut, and mid-flat.
The sound when pushed through the preamp is exceptional, and the final sound is designed to be of a high level overall.
