Sterling is a brand that manufactures more affordable models of Music Man guitars.
Even though they are more affordable, they offer high basic performance and fully inherit the Music Man legacy.
This particular model is a signature model of Pete Wentz, the bassist for Fall Out Boy, who has been a leading figure in the punk rock and pop punk scene.
The body is made of Nyatoh, and the neck and fretboard are made of Roasted Maple.
The pickups are original.
The use of a passive circuit, which has become increasingly popular in recent years, is also an attractive feature.
The controls are extremely simple, consisting only of volume and tone, yet it produces a vintage-like warmth and a punchy, dynamic sound.
