Kanade SOUND DESIGN is a brand of Altero Custom Guitars, a guitar workshop in Shiga Prefecture, Japan.
By incorporating their top-quality craftsmanship in key areas (such as the nut) and keeping the specifications somewhat standardized, they've managed to reduce costs and pass those savings on to customers, resulting in an excellent price.
This model is a PJ-style bass.
The body is alder, and the neck and fingerboard are maple.
The finish is very thin, allowing the wood grain to be clearly visible despite the alder construction.
The pickups are Kariya PJ Type.
It can express a wide range of tones, from the thick, punchy sound characteristic of a Precision Bass to the tight, clear sound of a Jazz Bass.
The fast response of the maple fingerboard and the rich midrange of the alder body combine to create a versatile instrument suitable for any genre.
The frets have approximately 90% remaining.
