Tune is a long-established bass brand based in Amagasaki City, Hyogo Prefecture.
Since its founding in 1983, it has been loved by many bassists.
This model is one of TUNE's flagship models, and this is the rare 10-string (double-string) TWB-10N.
The 10-string (double-string) construction produces a unique tone with harmonics and breadth, as if each note has a natural chorus effect.
The body is made of figured maple for the top and back, and Honduras mahogany for the center.
The neck is a 5-piece construction of hard maple and walnut, and the fingerboard is made of ebony.
It is equipped with original humbucker pickups and a GAP-1N preamp.
It features a fast attack characteristic of an ebony fingerboard and a clear, wide-range active sound.
With its distinctive look and sound, and the level of craftsmanship that is typical of high-end Japanese-made basses, this is a rare instrument today.
Fret life is approximately 70%.
