Tsubasa Guitar Workshop is a brand by Chiaki Tanaka, known for his work on Fullertone guitars.
He has a particularly strong reputation for creating basses with vintage-inspired designs, based on his previous work.
This is The Hopper, the brand's flagship model.
As you can see, it's modeled after a JB bass.
The body is made of alder, the neck is maple, and the fretboard is rosewood—a classic combination.
The heavy relic finish is also one of its appealing features.
The pickups are original.
They are completely handmade by Chiaki Tanaka in his own workshop, from winding the coils to magnetizing them.
