Sadowsky is a high-end New York brand with top musicians such as Marcus Miller and Will Lee as clients.
Previously, the MetroLine was manufactured in Japan, but as Warwick took over the distribution of Sadowsky products, manufacturing moved to the Warwick factory in Germany.
There were concerns about a decline in quality, as the Japanese-made MetroLine models were highly regarded, but judging from the actual product, these concerns seem unfounded.
Compared to the Japanese-made models, the neck feels slightly thinner, and there are differences in the curvature of the body joint.
This is the ML21 MJ4 model, which incorporates elements of the MM type.
The body is made of swamp ash, and the neck and fretboard are made of maple.
The pickups are passive JB-type and MM-type.
It's characterized by its ability to produce a wide range of tones, from the tight and crisp tone of a standard JB style to a punchy, fat sound utilizing the rear MM pickup.
The preamp features the familiar 2-band EQ.
You can easily boost the low and high frequencies with the fretboard, creating the clear, powerful, and superb slap tone that is characteristic of Sadowsky.
The push-pull controls allow you to bypass the active circuit and play it passively, offering flexibility in any situation.
This is a guitar that combines a rich variety of sounds with high playability.
The frets have approximately 90% remaining.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in good condition.
The body and paintwork show some minor scratches.
The electronics are in good condition.
No obvious modifications were observed.
