Unlike many large guitar processors of today, its primary function is that of an amp simulator.
It models eight world-famous amp sounds, including Fender, Mesa Boogie, Friedman, and Bogner, using the latest technology.
It can save 1024 sampling rate IR data and supports loading third-party IR data. It delivers a realistic sound, as if a large amp were right in front of you.
It features two footswitches: an A/B footswitch for switching between clean and crunch amp sounds, and a SCENE switch that allows you to save up to three favorite sounds and recall them sequentially.
This allows for sound switching at your feet, making it ideal for stage use.
By connecting to a PC, it can load IR data, control various parameters and effect blocks, and even be used as a USB audio interface.
Furthermore, it's an all-around device equipped with a DI OUT (XLR output) and a headphone jack.
