RYOGA is a guitar and bass brand handled by Shimamura Music.
This is the SKATER BASS/LE, an original-shaped bass with a 33-inch scale length.
With a 33-inch scale length (one inch shorter than a long scale), a compact body, and excellent weight balance, it's designed to be easy to handle whether standing or sitting.
The body is made of poplar, the neck is roasted maple, and the fingerboard is ebony.
The pickups are original PJ layouts.
It features a clear and well-defined sound with ample low end and a solid midrange, making it easy to play.
Designed with a fundamental reassessment of weight, balance, and scale length, this bass combines a distinctive look with comfortable playability.
The frets have approximately 80% remaining.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is currently playable with GIB standard adjustment (2.0mm-2.5mm at the 12th fret), but there is a slight upward bow in the strings, so lowering the string height further will cause buzzing in the higher positions.
The body and paintwork show minor scratches. There is a paint chip of about 5.0mm near the neck joint.
The electronics are in good condition.
No obvious modifications were found.
