G&L is known as the third brand created by Leo Fender after Fender and Music Man.
Tom Hamilton (Aerosmith) and Murphy Karges (Sugar Ray) are famous bassists who favor G&L basses. (Titles omitted)
This is an L2000 manufactured in 2010.
The body is made of Swamp Ash, the neck is Hard Rock Maple, and the fretboard is likely Brazilian Cherry.
It is equipped with two large humbucking pickups.
In addition to the pickup selector, it has series/parallel switching for each pickup and a preamp mode switch, allowing for a wide range of sound shaping capabilities that are unexpected from its simple appearance.
The sound is thick and powerful, characterized by solid lows and a clear attack.
While possessing the thick output characteristic of large humbuckers, it can handle a wide range of tones, from powerful, forceful sounds to more natural tones that bring out the instrument's inherent character.
This is a highly practical bass guitar suitable for a wide range of genres, including rock and funk.
