Fender is, of course, the number one brand of electric guitars and basses.
It's loved by countless top artists, including Jaco Pastorius, Marcus Miller, and Geddy Lee. (Titles omitted)
The Jazz Bass was released as a higher-end model than the Precision Bass.
Its sharp, clear sound is loved by many bassists, and it continues to receive overwhelming support and shines brightly even today.
This instrument is a 5-string model from Fender's modern line, the American Ultra II, which inherits the lineage of the American Deluxe series.
The body is made of alder, the neck is made of maple, and the fingerboard is made of ebony.
The neck shape is a Modern D shape, which gradually changes shape from the low to high positions.
Furthermore, the fingerboard combines a 10"" to 14"" Compound Radius, which becomes flatter towards the high positions, enabling extremely smooth fingering that doesn't feel like the thickness of a 5-string bass neck.
This bass features Ultra II Noiseless Vintage Jazz Bass pickups.
The preamp is original.
It boasts a clear output with reduced noise while retaining a vintage-like warmth, offering a wide range of tones from traditional Jazz Bass sounds to well-defined, modern tones.
With its solid low-end support characteristic of a 5-string bass, and the clear mid-high frequencies typical of a Jazz Bass, this bass is well-suited to modern playing styles.
The frets have approximately 80% remaining.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in good condition.
The body and paintwork show minor scratches throughout. There is a dent of approximately 0.5cm on the side of the body (horn area).
