Yamaha is a renowned brand that has supported the Japanese guitar industry since its early days.
While the company boasts several models considered classics, this particular model is a masterpiece from the highly regarded BB series.
The BB series has undergone numerous model changes throughout its long history.
This BBP35 is a current model and part of the top-of-the-line Pro Series.
The body is a 3-ply construction of Alder/Maple/Alder.
The neck is a 5-piece laminated type made of Maple and Mahogany.
Lamination reduces individual variations and eliminates extreme wood characteristics, making it less prone to warping.
The fingerboard is made of Rosewood.
The pickups are YGD V7 P/J.
It incorporates many unique design features, such as a body structure sandwiched between Maple and Alder, I.R.A. (Internal Resonance Amplifier) that provides vibration after completion, and miter bolting where the joint screws are inserted at an angle.
This bass features a unique sound that combines robustness and sharpness.
