Atelier Z is a Japanese guitar brand.
This is the brand's flagship M series, a signature model of Tomohito Aoki.
Based on a 1970s Fender Jazz Bass, this model pursues modern playability and a powerful sound, with a design strongly influenced by the NY style sound.
The body is made of ash, and the neck and fingerboard are made of maple, a classic wood combination.
The pickups are original, and it is equipped with a Bartolini XTCT preamp.
The bridge is a BADASS bridge.
Furthermore, it has been replaced with a HIPSHOT D-Tuner, enhancing its practicality for live performances.
The sound is characterized by a punchy low end and sharp, clear highs.
It possesses the speed and power characteristic of Atelier Z, producing a powerful sound that stands out whether slapping or fingerpicking.
The frets have approximately 70% remaining.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in good condition.
The body and paintwork show fine scratches and minor dents throughout. There are paint cracks around the neck joint and neck pocket.
