Three Dots is a new brand created by Yoshiyuki Kikuchi (and Okada International), who has earned immense trust from many professional bassists, particularly in his work with Sadowsky.
This is the FB VBM/M, developed with the Music Man StingRay as its motif, pursuing modern playability and sound.
The body is made of ash, and the neck and fingerboard are made of maple.
The pickups are original.
They combine a fat low end with a clear, punchy attack.
Normally, it's wired in parallel, but by pulling up the tone knob, it can be switched to series wiring.
This results in a more powerful and assertive sound, and despite being passive, it fully retains the StingRay's characteristic presence.
Furthermore, a battery space is pre-installed in the cavity, allowing for the installation of preamps such as the Bartolini TCT series and Aguilar OBP-1 without major modifications.
Inheriting the charm of the StingRay, this is a highly refined instrument with modern playability and high expandability.
