Greco is a brand that has been active since the early days of guitar making in Japan.
They continue to manufacture guitars today and have a well-established reputation for reliable quality.
This is the SB-850, a signature model of Suzi Quatro.
With its distinctive body shape reminiscent of a Thunderbird and a PJ pickup layout, this is a truly original instrument.
The body and neck are made of mahogany, and the fingerboard is made of rosewood.
It is equipped with original pickups.
This particular instrument has been refinished in body color and has undergone practical upgrades, including replacement of the bridge, pots, jack, control knobs, and strap pins with Schaller parts, changes to the wiring, and shielding inside the cavity.
It boasts a powerful low end and a clear attack, offering an easy-to-use sound characteristic of the PJ layout.
With its unique look and the presence of a Japanese vintage guitar, this is a guitar that will stand out on stage.
The frets have approximately 60% remaining.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in good condition.
The body and paintwork have numerous small scratches throughout. There are several dents on the body end. There is a dent of approximately 0.8cm on the side of the body. There is a 1.5cm paint chip on the body wing (near the pickup selector). Additional screw holes for a finger rest have been added. There are cracks in the binding, but this does not affect normal use.
The electronics are in good condition.
The body color has been refinished. The bridge has been replaced with a Schaller bridge.
The control knobs have been replaced. The strap pins have been replaced. The potentiometers and jack have been replaced. The wiring has also been replaced accordingly. Shielding has been applied to the cavity.
