g7 Special is an original brand of G'Seven Guitars, a guitar shop and repair workshop based in Shinjuku.
It's known for being used by many professional musicians, including HISASHI (GLAY) and Haruichi Shindo (Porno Graffitti). (Titles omitted)
This is a PB-type guitar modeled after the 50s style.
The body is made of alder, and the neck and fretboard are made of 1P maple, following the classic 50s PB style.
The color is Black Beauty, a tribute to vintage Les Paul Customs.
The deep black and the texture unique to lacquer finish create a luxurious appearance.
The finish appears to be Lightly Aged.
The texture and natural aging effect unique to lacquer are appealing.
It is equipped with Nordstrand NP4v pickups.
It features rich lows and natural harmonics, and while possessing the thickness characteristic of a PB, it also has a well-balanced sound with good clarity in the mid and high frequencies. The strap pins have been replaced with Jim Dunlop ones.
This is a highly refined g7 Special, combining a vintage-like look and sound with excellent playability.
The frets have approximately 80% remaining.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in good condition.
The body and paintwork show dents, scratches, paint chips, and weather checking throughout, but due to the aged finish, it's impossible to determine if these are later-acquired damages. There is some slight tarnishing on the metal parts.
The electronics are in good condition.
The strap pins have been replaced with Jim Dunlop ones.
