Bacchus is a Japanese brand based in Nagano.
It's a brand under the Deviser umbrella, which owns a large guitar factory in Asuka. The high quality, stemming from the factory's in-house production, is highly regarded by many musicians.
This is the Global Series 6-string model, HJB6-Standard/Ash.
It's a special edition model created in collaboration with Ikebe Gakki.
The body is made of ash, the neck is maple, and the fingerboard is also maple.
The ash body provides a fast attack and crisp response, while the maple fingerboard offers clear responsiveness, resulting in a wide-ranging, clear sound.
Both the pickups and preamp are original designs.
Based on the powerful, punchy sound characteristic of modern JB basses, the active circuitry allows for a wide range of tonal shaping.
While taking advantage of the wide tonal range unique to a 6-string bass, it boasts an easy-to-use sound with excellent string separation.
Combining high playability with excellent cost performance, this is a recommended instrument for anyone considering a 6-string bass.
