Three Dots is a new brand created by Yoshiyuki Kikuchi (and Okada International), who has earned immense trust from many professional bassists, particularly for his work with Sadowsky.
This model is an ambitious creation that fully incorporates Mr. Kikuchi's intentions, based on the traditional PB motif.
The body is made of alder, and the fingerboard is rosewood, a classic configuration.
The pickups are original.
These pickups reference the sound of vintage Fender basses used by professional musicians in the field.
These pickups, perfected through repeated trial and error, do not have a flashy sound, but they have a well-balanced sound from low to high frequencies, and the overall finish is very refined.
Many aspects, such as the neck angle and initial setup, adopt a design that is a further development of the Fender style, strongly indicating an emphasis on playability.
It can be said that this is an advanced bass that fulfills the elements required of a Fender-style bass while offering a new proposal.
