Moon is a leading, long-established guitar brand in Japan.
Highly regarded by many professional artists, Mitsuru Sudo and Larry Graham are known to be users of the brand. (Titles omitted)
This model is a signature model of Mitsuru Sudo, one of Japan's leading bassists.
The body is made of alder, the neck is maple, and the fingerboard is ebony.
Finished in Deep Lake Placid Blue, it has a calm and sophisticated presence.
The thin, flat neck shape fits comfortably in the hand, resulting in extremely smooth playability.
It is equipped with original Oxalis JB5 pickups and a Bartolini XTCT preamp.
In addition to two volume controls and a three-band EQ, it features a ""volume bypass switch"" that reflects Sudo's idea.
Normally used with a slightly reduced volume on the neck pickup for fingerstyle playing, it can be switched to full volume on both pickups with a single switch for slap bass, making it a practical feature.
The bridge is based on a GOTOH 404BO-5, combined with brass saddles.
The sound is a modern JB sound with a fast attack, powerful tone, and clear projection.
It has a wide range and exhibits high expressiveness from slap to fingerstyle playing.
The frets have approximately 80% remaining.
