Description & Condition
Description & Condition
LAKLAND, a brand that enjoys overwhelming support from professional bassists worldwide.
Among the brand's multiple series, this instrument is the top-of-the-line model, made in the USA.
This model is the 44-64, based on the Precision Bass.
While based on the traditional PB style, it combines Lakland's signature high playability and refined sound.
The body is made of alder, the neck is made of quarter-sawn rock maple, and the fingerboard is made of Indian rosewood.
The pickups are Lakland originals.
The sound is centered on the thick, open low end characteristic of a PB, with added tight attack and excellent response.
The unique playing feel, where the strings bounce lightly, is extremely comfortable, and it gives a natural dynamism to the rhythm whether fingerpicking or pick playing.
Furthermore, this instrument is equipped with HUMPBACK ENGINEERING's Paper-in-Oil capacitors and Pure Tone Jack.
Every detail has been upgraded with practicality in mind. This bass guitar perfectly balances a rich, vintage-like tone with modern playability.
It's recommended not only for players seeking an authentic PB sound, but also for anyone looking for a high-quality bass that's easy to handle in a live setting.
The frets have approximately 80% remaining.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in good condition.
The body and paintwork show some minor scratches and small dents. There are mounting holes for a pickup fence, as well as several other holes of unknown purpose. There are also small dents on the neck.
The electronics are in good condition.
The capacitors have been replaced with HUMPBACK ENGINEERING Handmade Paper-in-Oil CAP -RED-. The jack has been replaced with a Pure Tone Jack.
