Description & Condition
Fender is, of course, the number one brand of electric guitars and basses.
It's loved by countless top artists, including Jaco Pastorious, Marcus Miller, and Geddy Lee. (Titles omitted)
The Jazz Bass was released as a higher-end model than the Precision Bass.
Its sharp, clear sound is loved by many bassists, and it continues to receive overwhelming support and shines brightly even today.
Fender Japan started in the 1980s as a Japanese-made Fender, but unfortunately, it has now been discontinued and integrated into Fender itself.
However, the brand's quality is still supported by many artists and continues to be sought after.
This model is the classic JB62-75.
Manufactured in 1983.
The neck end has ""6-29'83"" handwritten on it.
The model was determined based on the specifications.
It is said that Fender Japan models differ depending on the serial number, but this one is the legendary and popular JV serial number. The body is made of alder, and the fingerboard is rosewood—a popular combination.
It features a spiral bridge and reverse-wound tuning machines, a truly classic specification.
The pickups have been replaced with Seymour Duncan Antiquity II Jive pickups.
This is clearly an upgrade.
The quality is superb, eloquently speaking of the excellence of Fender Japan's JV era in terms of sound and playability.
The powerful low end, crisp treble, and rich yet sharp sound are universally wonderful, as expected of a JB.
The frets have approximately 90% remaining.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in good condition.
The body and paintwork show fine scratches and minor dents throughout. There is a paint chip of about 1 cm on the elbow contour. There are several paint chips of about 0.5 mm on the side of the body. There is a paint crack of about 6.5 cm near the neck joint plate. A sticker is attached to the side of the neck.
The electronics are in good condition.
The pickguard has been replaced. A routing has been done in the body to allow easier access to the truss rod. The pickguard has also been modified accordingly.
