Fender Japan is a discontinued brand, but many artists still use their instruments, and its high quality is still highly regarded.
This is the PB70-93US, a top-of-the-line model from that era.
It's a fretless model.
It's unclear whether the fretboard has been replaced or if it's original fretless.
The body is made of ash, and the fretboard is maple—a classic combination.
