FGN (Fujigen) is an original brand developed by Fujigen, a guitar factory that Japan proudly presents to the world.
For many years, Fujigen has handled OEM manufacturing for numerous famous brands such as Fender, Ibanez, and G&L, and its high level of manufacturing technology is highly regarded by musicians around the world.
This model is the JMP2B-ASH-M/OPB from Fujigen's J-Standard series.
The body is made of ash, and the neck and fingerboard are made of maple.
It is painted in Open Pore Black, which gives it a distinctive look.
The frets are installed using a technology called the Circle Fretting System (CFS).
This is because the frets are installed in a fan shape, which corrects the spacing between the nut and frets and improves pitch accuracy.
It is equipped with two Seymour Duncan Quarter-Pound SPB-3 pickups.
With powerful output and a thick low end, the mix of the two pickups creates a truly unique sound character, combining the clarity and definition reminiscent of a Jazz Bass.
While maintaining the powerful sound characteristic of a PB, this FGN guitar boasts a wide range of tonal possibilities thanks to its two split-coil pickups and high playability, resulting in a highly refined instrument.
