G&L is known as a brand founded by Leo Fender, following Fender and Music Man.
It is favored by many bassists, including Tom Hamilton (Aerosmith) and Murphy Karges (Sugar Ray). (Titles omitted)
This model is the L-2000 Tribute Series, G&L's flagship model.
While produced in Indonesia, the Tribute Series inherits the design philosophy of the USA model, achieving high cost performance.
The body is made of ash, and the neck and fingerboard are made of maple.
This wood configuration supports the L-2000's characteristic sound, with a crisp attack and powerful low end.
It is equipped with two large original humbucking pickups.
Furthermore, by combining it with a 2-band EQ preamp, it can handle a wide range of tones, from thick and powerful sounds to bright and clear tones.
The three mini-switches are also a characteristic feature of the L-2000.
This bass offers a wide range of sound shaping possibilities with its freely controllable pickup selection, pickup wiring (series/tap/parallel), and preamp switching (treble boost/active/passive).
It combines a powerful, punchy sound with the flexibility offered by its diverse controls.
This bass is highly practical and suitable for any genre.
The frets have approximately 80% remaining.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck has been adjusted with shims due to the bridge saddle dropping to its limit. It is playable without issues at 2.5mm for the 4th string and 2.0mm for the 1st string.
There are some minor scratches on the body and paintwork.
The electronics are in good condition.
No obvious modifications were found.
